This is an easy one – anywhere in mainland UK (sometimes even further!).
We have buyers travelling up, down and across the UK all the time so we can book a visit at any time or day to suit you. We are based right in the centre of the midlands which means most destinations are easily reached within 2 to 3 hours or less. There is no need to let your location stop you from selling to us.
No need to type out huge lists, we know some dealers ask for this and after hours of work then say the collection is not for them.
We just need some basic information before we move forward with the purchase;
What do you have?
There will be LPs, 7″ singles(sometimes called 45s), 12″ singles, 10″ singles or old 78s. LPs are 12″ in size and usually have several tracks on each side, a 12″ will only have 3 or four tracks in total while a 7″ will usually only have one track each side.
Roughly how many do you have of each type?
If there are far too many to count then count the first 50 of each and estimate the total from this by multiplying out to the rest.
Where in the country are you?
This will help us prioritise your collection and schedule a visit.

We will need your full address details to arrange a day and time to visit, this is best done over the phone.
We are an established business with a reputation to keep!
We will buy your whole collection at a fair price agreeable to you. Unlike many dealers who specialise in one area we sell all styles of music so won’t cherry pick the best ones to leave you with a load of unsellable records. Other dealers will ask for long lists only to then tell you its not for them or ask you to send the records to them and then tell you they are not in the right condition and offer half the previous stated price. Not us, we will visit you and pay you there and then.

If you are not sure that what you have will be of interest it is best to contact us anyway.
Maybe. Maybe not. Its a bit of a lottery selling yourself online. Sometimes they can sell for a reasonable price other times well below their worth. What is certain is that it will take a long time, a lot of work and will have costs. To get the right price for each record you will need to be able to accurately grade covers and the records(you will get returns and negative feedback if done wrong), know all about matrix numbers, first pressings, label variations and re-pressings.
Don’t forget to take the fees off the price you get, these include listing fees, final selling fees, paypal fees and postage costs as well as your own time. You can expect a good number of records to take several times listing before selling and some will never sell.
No easy answer here. Records can be worth from nothing to thousands each so there are no fixed prices. If a “dealer” gives you a fixed price over the phone for a collection then this is likely to be a lowest estimate for their worth but to get the best price you will need a professional to view the collection in person.
